The Cornacchia World Cup Organizing Committee regrets to inform all participating teams that, due to a last-minute withdrawal by Virtus Fontanafredda, changes to the format of Group H are unfortunately necessary.
As a consequence, all matches in Group H will now be played in a best-of-five sets format. Additionally, in accordance with tournament regulations, all matches involving Virtus Fontanafredda will be awarded as forfeits, with a score of 3–0 in favor of the opposing teams.
We are sincerely sorry for this situation. This is not the standard we strive to uphold, especially considering the commitment and expectations of the many international teams taking part in the Cornacchia World Cup. We fully understand the importance of providing a well-organized and consistent competition experience, and we regret any inconvenience this may cause.
