The Nations Winter Cup by FB Tanks, spin-off event of Cornacchia World Cup, has already announced some of the best Under 16 National teams of the world.
Yes you heard it right, JVA is inviting you in Pordenone, because the event is managed in close collaboration between the Japanese team and the organization behind the Cornacchia World Cup. We are glad to see how our Italian city, is becoming traditionally home of some of the best global volleyball schools, where the expertise of Cornacchia World Cup, meet the warmth of the local spectators wishing to open the doors of their city to the best global talents of volleball.
Another National team already confirmed is Slovakia, coming with the Under 16 girls selection, while Italy will partecipate with the boys selection and Japan and Russia will take part in both categories.
Russia is the queen of the last Cornacchia World Cup, but has also conquered the tournament with the boys squad in 2016 and 2013. Will this be the chance to see again in Pordenone top players such as Ilia Vlasov, Pavel Pankov or the 2013 MVP Victor Poletaev?
Italy can also count on the Cornacchia World Cup legacy of stars such as Simone Giannelli, Alessandro Michieletto, Simone Anzani, Mattia Bottolo and many others who played at a young age at the tournament in Pordenone before to be crowned champions of the world.
